Branch end standardization


Standardizing the ends of coppiced poles to a 15 mm tenon.

Using a lathe ensured that each tenon was carved concentrically with the branch's natural axis. This made every pole compatible with the connector system, despite the natural variation in diameter and shape of the coppiced wood.
